Christmas Chocolate Advent Calendar

Christmas Chocolate Advent CalendarEvery year growing up, I got a Christmas chocolate advent calendar and I couldn’t wait to open that little door and get at my daily morsel!

Even today, I still get myself a chocolate Christmas calendar every year. Don’t judge…

If you’ve read any recent posts on this site, you’ll know I’ve been doing a lot of research into advent calendars recently. I was put in charge of finding a good one for my nieces.

We decided not to go with a chocolate advent calendar, because we wanted to be a bit more healthy. Correction: we wanted my nieces to be a bit more healthy. Screw my health. Once I saw some of the advent calendars with chocolate being sold these days, I actually decided I might have to get two (or more) for myself this year. Don’t judge…

I’ve always loved Lindt chocolate and there are 5 or 6 different Lindt advent calendars available (if you click on the one I included below, you’ll see the other options in the “customers who viewed this item also viewed” section). I was dead set on one of the Lindt calendars…until I saw the After Eight one.

I’m practically addicted to those things and I love the Big Ben shape of the calendar, too. So now I’m getting two calendars for myself. And I’ll probably finish the After Eight calendar by December 3. Don’t judge…

The Best Christmas Chocolate Advent Calendars

The main problem with getting a Lindt and an After Eight calendar is that I won’t be able to get one from Kinder or Ferrero. Unless I get 3. Or 4. Ok, I need to stop. Also, don’t judge…

Did you notice how quickly I got distracted? I was supposed to find an advent calendar for my nieces with the specific instruction to avoid one containing chocolate or other sweets. Yet here I am, not only researching Christmas chocolate advent calendars, but buying two of them and even writing a whole post about them. Did I mention I love chocolate?

Don’t judge…
