Christmas Tree Music Box

Christmas tree music boxI do not own a Christmas tree music box. I can’t say that about many Christmas decorations.

If I’m honest, I actually didn’t realize something like this existed. Now that I do know, I’m going to get one. Of course you probably already guessed that, since this post is proof I’ve been researching them.

Some of these music boxes are just so intricately decorated. I absolutely love the way they look and the combination of a beautifully crafted Christmas tree with a traditional Christmas song is irresistible.

It’s one of those things where I know I don’t need it (and even if I were to forget, my husband would be there to remind me), but I don’t care. They’re not that expensive, so why not have one?

I first became aware of these Christmas themed music boxes when I saw one at the house of one of my husband’s coworkers. They had it on the mantle above their fireplace, but I think I’d prefer to put it on my coffee table. That would make it more accessible and a great conversation piece for when I have guests over.

Great Deals on Christmas Tree Music Boxes

Music boxes always make great gifts, too and that’s just as true for one featuring a Christmas tree. I’ve already got most of my gifts planned out, so I don’t think I’ll be giving anyone a music box this year, but I’ll probably add it to my list of good gift ideas for next year. If I’m completely honest, I also like the idea of being the only one in my circle of friends to have one. Does that make me shallow?

In the end, I decided on the Christmas market one. I know that it’s not technically a Christmas tree music box, but I like that it includes other elements besides just the tree. My favorite Christmas song is actually “O Christmas Tree”, but unfortunately, the tree that plays that melody is the least appealing one.
